We bring the studio to you: recording a podcast at your office
Getting a busy team, a guest and a host into a studio on the same afternoon is often the hardest part of making a podcast. So we flip it round: we pack up the studio and bring it to you.
Your office, shop, warehouse or event space can work brilliantly as a recording location. Here’s what that looks like, with a real example from The Dokkcast, Udokk’s podcast, recorded in an office.

Why record at your own place?
- It fits around your day. No travel, no booking a studio across town. Your team steps out of a meeting and into the recording.
- Guests are more relaxed. People talk more naturally somewhere familiar, and it shows in the conversation.
- It looks like you. Filming in your own space shows your brand, your people and your workplace, which a hired studio can’t.
- It’s easier to make it regular. When recording doesn’t mean a trip, it’s much easier to batch several episodes in one session.
What we bring
Our mobile studio is built around the RØDECaster Pro II, with RØDE microphones and headphones for everyone taking part. It has four microphone inputs, so up to four people can be recorded in the room, and we can bring cameras to film the conversation for YouTube and social clips.
If someone can’t be there in person, they can join remotely through Riverside from a link in their browser, and we’ll edit it all together as one episode.
How the day works
- Before the dayA quick call to agree the topic, the guests and the best room to use. We’ll ask a few questions about the space so there are no surprises.
- Arrive and choose the spotWe arrive early and check the room for echo and noise. Sometimes moving a table a few feet makes all the difference.
- Set up and sound-checkMicrophones, headphones and cameras go up, then we check everyone’s levels before anything is recorded.
- RecordYou focus on the conversation. We monitor the recording throughout and keep an eye on the levels.
- Pack downWe take everything away and leave the room as we found it. Editing, clips and publishing happen back at base.
What you need to provide
- A room you can use for the session, ideally a smaller one with some soft furnishings
- A table and chairs for everyone taking part
- Access to power sockets
- A heads-up to colleagues nearby, so the session isn’t interrupted

After the recording
The recording is just the start. We edit the episode, write the show notes, publish it to the major platforms and cut short clips for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, so one session at your office can feed a month of marketing. See our services and prices for the full picture.

Questions about recording on location
Can you record a podcast at our office?
Yes. We bring our mobile studio, built around the RØDECaster Pro II, to your office, shop or venue. We choose the best spot, set everything up and sound-check it before you start, and pack it all away afterwards.
What do we need to provide for an on-location recording?
A room you can use for the session, a table and chairs, and access to power. A smaller room with soft furnishings works best, and it helps to warn colleagues nearby so the session isn't interrupted.
How many people can you record on location?
Our mobile kit has four microphone inputs, so up to four people can be recorded in the room at once. Remote guests can join from a browser link using Riverside.
Can you film the podcast as well as record audio?
Yes. We can film on location as well as record audio, so you have video for YouTube and short clips for social media.
