The Dokkcast: a health podcast with its own website, artwork and social channels

The Dokkcast is an evidence-led health podcast from Udokk, hosted by Dr Nara Daubeney. Each episode is an open, accessible conversation with a doctor, clinician or specialist. We make the show, built its website and run its content and social media.

The brief

Credible health content, without the hype

Udokk wanted a way to share trustworthy health information, from people who really know their subject, in a format people would actually choose to listen to. That meant giving qualified professionals the time and space to explain their work properly, then making sure those conversations reached people.

01 · Production

A podcast doctors want to be on

We record The Dokkcast at our London studio and on location at Udokk’s office, then edit and publish every episode as video and audio.

  • Multi-camera recording, so every episode works on YouTube as well as in podcast apps
  • Guests including Professor John Deanfield CBE and consultant cardiologist Dr Alexander Lyon
  • Published on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube and Acast
  • Episode artwork for every release, in the show’s own brand

02 · Website

A home for the show

We built thedokkcast.com so every episode has somewhere to live that Udokk owns, and that search engines can find.

  • Episode pages to listen and watch
  • A blog with show notes for every episode, tagged by topic
  • Pages for Dr Nara Daubeney, guests, and sponsors and partners
  • A media kit and clear routes for press and partnership enquiries

03 · Content

Every episode becomes a set of posts

Each episode is turned into show notes, an article and social content, so one conversation keeps working for weeks.

  • A blog article for every episode
  • Quote cards that pull out the strongest lines
  • Short clips for social channels
  • Everything in the same dark-blue, evidence-led look

04 · Social media

Written, scheduled and managed

We write and schedule the posts too, so the show has a steady presence on Instagram and LinkedIn without Udokk’s team having to find the time.

  • Posts written for each platform and audience
  • Scheduled ahead, so launches and new episodes go out on time
  • Links back to the website, so attention turns into listeners
  • Health content handled carefully, with a clear “not medical advice” line
